Tomorrow
Where music and poetry meet
Some strings of words just want to be a poem. Some poems want to turn into a song. And sometimes, it’s a mix of both. In the end, my writing follows instincts and emotions more than anything else.
Trusting my intuition is probably what I’ve practiced the most in my creative process. In my new song TOMORROW, I blended spoken word and singing — the lyrics have a slow, poetic flow, and even if you only read them, they could stand on their own.
Are songs poems in rhythm - or something else altogether? Maybe they meet in the quiet after the last note.
The video I filmed is meant to emphasize that feeling of hope and new beginnings. I wanted to share it here — and maybe in the next few days, I’ll write a bit more about the differences I feel between writing poetry and writing songs. Would you enjoy it if I shared more about my musical and visual work background and how all it flows together?
I’m curious to know how you feel about songs and song lyrics dear Substack souls. Maybe you even want to share a favorite that moves you—or one that feels like poetry to you.

So in love with this!
